Mobility

Worldwide  leader for mobile plants, FAYAT MIXING PLANTS offer a wide range of mobile solutions for all types of  plants: hot mix, warm mix or cold mix production.

The main criteria  to choose one or another mobile design, is based on R.O.I. analysis focusing on the expected number of transfers of the plant during its life.

During transfers, the major expenses are the following:

  • Civil engineering
  • Cranes
  • Labor force for disassembling/assembling
  • Transportation

Depending on end-users’ requirements, plants can be proposed in supermobile, super transferable, transferable, mobile or stationary versions. Each of them has different mobility features that are summed up in the following chart:

Supermobile
MARINI-ERMONT supermobile design is the strategic solution enabling to meet any contractors’ requirements (road construction or maintenance) , without any geographical constraint. This design brings much more mobility than the called « mobile plant » and enables to transfer from jobsite to another in a very short time, with unrivaled affordable costs.

This design needs absolutely no civil foundations, nor cranes. All interfaces are embedded (built-in axle tree / inter-module connections / lifting devices / metal foundations). Our supermobile plants are illustrations of the advantages of the MARINI-ERMONT design, which is a result of over 30 years of lasting collaboration with our customers operating in Europe and global job-sites.
Super Transferable
MARINI-ERMONT super transferable design is a solution in the form of container-like modules that enables to transfer from jobsite to another without any geographical constraint, with unrivaled affordable costs.

This design needs absolutely no civil foundations, nor cranes thanks to its container-like design. Inter-module connections, lifting devices, metal foundations are all embedded.
Mobile
The mobile concept differs from the concept transferable by its embedded mobility.

While transferring, the different units of the mobile plant, built as semi-trailer do no need a standard or specific trailer (as required in case of transportable plants).

However, unlike the supermobile concept, a mobile plant requires cranes and also possible civil engineering for assembling/disassembling on jobsites.

As optional, easily transferrable steel bases can be used in order to reduce or eliminate the need for concrete foundation.

It also requires some interfaces that can not be on-board transported during transfers.
Transferable
A transferable plant is supposed to move at least once during its life. Its concept is modular in order to optimize assembling/disassembling operations.

It is installed with the main target to reduce set-up costs, which can not be paid back in case of transfers (civil engineering, housing, etc.)
Stationary
The concept of stationary plant is based on the principle that the plant is installed on a dedicated jobsite in order to produce mixes for peripheral roads contracts and maintenance. Generally speaking, stationary plants are located near cities or any other strategic location (e.g. close to highway network) in order to supply mixes on the widest possible area.

To reduce the nuisance to nearby neighborhoods in urban areas, the plant may be integrated into the environment.
